KAMIS Clothing: Who are we?
KAMIS Clothing is a high-end streetwear brand with a sustainable touch. Our passion leads us, which allows us to be inspired by our imagination and irrational thoughts. At the same time, we keep a clear vision in the back of our mind with the right focus on our standards and every possible detail that can be improved.
When we start to build on new projects, we are motivated by the thought: "What if it turns out better than expected?".
When we put our ideas into reality, we are guided by our vision, consisting of three main core pillars: Authenticity, sustainability and high quality standards.
1) Authenticity
Every pattern and design in our collection is unique. The authenticity comes forward at first sight, but it is also present in the minor details that are incorporated in (e.g.) the stitching patterns, the cuff structure and the logos. This makes the products stand out in a subtle way, which creates both a refined and distinctive look. Besides our renewed designs, we keep our products exclusive by limiting the number of pieces that will be sold in every collection.
2) Sustainability
We want to prioritize sustainability in our way of working where possible, whether it is related to the packaging material, the shipping methodology or anything else. 3) High quality standards
We have high standards when it comes to our fabrics, a comfortable fit and a well worked-out fine-tuning process. The fabrics that we select should be solid and firm. This comes forward in (among others) the height of the GSM (grams per square meters) of our fabrics. In addition, the fabrics are selected based on its movability, breathability and the fact that a fabric should not wrinkle easily.
With respect to the fit, we maintain the right balance between an item which feels comfortable, spacious (and relatively over-sized) while it still flatters your body posture at the same time. In addition, all products undergo a quality check before shipment to make sure that the fine-tuning is correctly done!
We think that these three core values can go hand in hand and even complement each other. We are not looking for a huge profit, any quick wins or to be living in Hawaii within a year. For us, it's about a search for quality, the beauty of just figuring things out on your own, the rush to catch new ideas, the excitement when the sample lies in your hands and the eagerness to look for endless new opportunities. And in the end, we truly hope that you get some extra energy, a little smile on your face or a fresh feeling when you wear any of the KAMIS Clothing items.
